ABOUT ME

I started Matthysse Lawn Care & Landscaping at age 16 while in High-School. Struggling to find a part time job, and a career that I wanted to pursue following High-School I was left wondering what I was going to do. I grew up landscaping on my own property. Weeding garden beds, spreading mulch, cutting the grass, raking leaves and gravel from the lawn, picking apples off the ground in the orchard. Then I found the Green Industry. The groomed lawns, the paver driveways and walkways, the beautifully groomed properties. I knew that's what I wanted to do. I knew I wanted to change peoples lives through their outdoor spaces. I turned to the internet and watched videos, looked at pictures and researched how to become a landscape professional. I found leaders and influencers in the Green Industry and looked up to them. Following their journey, learning from their success and failures. Matthysse Lawn Care & Landscaping was then born.
